Dream machine

What's a dream machine?

Introducing... "Hair-Replotter"! alright.. this is actually the name of our so-called "dream machine" which we came up with for our NM2216 grp project. (actually i came up with the name "Hairy-Plotter" initially.. sounds super lame i know but it was just to inject some humour to it.. but juni decided that it was simply too cmi and so he modified it to "Hair-Replotter" instead).. okok oh wells, at least it does sound SLIGHTLY better.. so claps for juni..haha!

Anyway, it's not a machine which we can control or create dreams.. but a machine of our dream which we will wish to have! It allows users to create and test out their desired hairstyle and fit it into the 3D digital image of themselves.. Putting it simply, users can get the perfect hairstyle without having to worry whether will it suit them or not! sounds a bit ridiculous? but with the current advancement in technology.. who knows? it might really be possible someday! haha..

enough said of my project.. but wouldn't it be nice if we can really own a machine which can control our dreams? one which enables us to start, pause, skip, fast-forward or block our dreams.. haha.. we can then decide who or what we want and dun want to dream of! but it's just a thought after all.. cos it's really quite impossible.. and it spoils the fun of having those weird and random dreams which just happen out of nowhere! (like my sis, who dreamt of Show- the taiwanese artist) that's like how random! and she's super thrilled over it cos she really loves him a lot.. haha

ps: why do i keep dreamin of you?

I'm back!

It's been sooooooooo long! It's alr halfway through the sem! so much had happened since my last post on 29th.. it's quite impossible to keep track all that has happened since then.. haha! guessed i'll just move on from here..

BUT... one special mention:

After 1 yr of slacking in my 1st yr of uni life.. i've finally took up a cca in yr 2! most of my friends will be/are/were surprised to hear tt i joined NUS cheerleading team and many have asked y.. guess it's due to lots of factors.. mainly interest and coincidence! haha... found juni who's also interested so we joined tgt.. it's really not easy i must say.. initial feelings of dejection and agony.. to the point of having thoughts of giving up.. but still.. i continued with it!

Participating in Chingay 2008 was a really great experience! seriously.. it's a really satisfying feeling being a performer.. enjoyment of performing and hearing the audience cheer along with us (Chingay can get really boring watchin it at times i know.. haha.. but being a performer is so much different from an audience).

Next big event for us will be the upcoming competition this sun - Cheerobics!!!
Hopefully everything goes well! Go Alphas! :)
