In the Hairspray Mood!

Two days ago, I met up with Calvin and Byrant to fulfil our promise - watch Hairspray together!

Apparently, travelling to town at 7pm by car, via expressway, turned out to be a disaster. We ended up spending more than 1.5 hours to get to town from bukit panjang! There was really a terrible jam all the way and it seemed as if everyone was heading down to town. Worst of all, we were starving terribly, yet we had to be stuck in the jam. We can only blame Friday night for it.

I was filled with anticipation for the show and Hairspray did not fail me indeed, as it was such an enjoyable show! (Especially after having to endure the torturous trip, it was worthwhile after all!). The songs are really 'catchy' and it is not difficult to groove along to them. The cast is strong (Queen Latifah is really a great singer, John Travolta is so hilarious!) and the dance moves are very captivating as well. To cut it short, it is just a "must-watch" show which i will strongly recommend my friends to watch! (It is so nice that i don't mind watching it again!)



Really enjoyed both the movie and the company :)
